A zero-impact company

Acrilgraph s.r.l. is a green-oriented company, with no environmental impact. It does not use polluting materials, does not produce polluting emissions (fumes, sewage sludge or powder) and the final product is absolutely non-toxic (it can be used for food use) and totally recyclable. Polymerization is, indeed, reversible at high temperatures and it thus converts all of the scraps into raw material.

Moreover, all process waste that comes from cutting, shaping, sheets refining, together with process scraps or imperfections, can be recovered and melted, in order to obtain new raw material. Environmental sustainability is not only a duty but also an opportunity that reduces, thanks to waste recovery, the costs of production and of waste disposal.

Thanks to the environmental sustainability, moreover, Acrilgraph communicates to the market the quality of its product and its infinite uses that, unlike the common thinking, do not pollute and are totally recyclable. Acrilgraph s.r.l. cares for the environment and it shows it through facts.

Our production cycle consists in the complete transformation from polymer to monomer, to re-obtain PMMA, like sheets or processed pieces. Our product can thus be considered as Italian made; moreover, production is completely made in Italy, using materials that are taken from Italian companies.

Methyl methacrylate, abbreviated as PMMA, is suitable for being totally recycled, since, when it is warmed up at high temperatures, the polymer is turned again to the source material.

Acrilgraph s.r.l. decided to take advantage of this characteristic to set a production cycle that starts from the scraps (recovered PMMA that had been grinded), to obtain the required material, once it has been purified through different stages.

Over the years, we have succeeded in closing the cycle, making it possible to recycle the by-products of the purification and, where this is not completely possible, to decompose them, obtaining water and carbon dioxide, like it naturally happens in woods.
